Henry Frieden and family near Elgin visited Elmer Frieden Sunday. Mrs L W McKellar spent Monday with Mrs C L Klingman. Ethel James and La Fonda Hermen visited Will Berger last Saturday afternoon.
A check for 17.38 from Alden Pinney editor of the Scott Co. Democrat Benton was given to Benton Methodist Sunday school for flood relief in the county. Pinney reported the Sunday school collection supported the relief effort and the Benton Sunday school and Mr Pinney were praised for their sympathy.
