Obituary for L. H. Eastman of Auburn and West Union
L. H. Eastman born near Attica New York January 0 1833? died January 23 1913 at his daughter Mrs M H Hershinger in West Union. He moved to Wisconsin with parents, married Catherine Snyder in 1855, later settled near Auburn Fayetta county, had two children Ella and Margaret, adopted J H Simons in San Francisco. Mrs Eastman died 1892, he lived with his daughter since then, baptized Auburn about 35 years ago, funeral at home conducted by Rev. E H Gillet, interment at Auburn cemetery.
