Holstein breeders plan an annual meeting in Fayette February 18 at the Legion hall with an oyster stew lunch. County Beef Producers meet February 23 at the Farm Bureau office with lunch and speaker Carl Oldsen. Meetings are open to livestock enthusiasts.
W C Falk visited McGregor on Monday while Josephine Kniel and Hazel Gehring enjoyed a West Union weekend in Elgin. Many relatives gathered for visits in the homes of Patterson, Har rington, and Schori families. A daughter born to Mr. and Mrs. Louis Sutter in Manchester earns praise, and Mrs. James Bailey recovers at home after illness. A correction notes Adolph Elvers as last week’s shark prize winner.

The Loyal division of the Ladies Aid Society will entertain the general Ladies Aid Society on Thursday afternoon February 16 at Mrs Efford Hunsberger s home.
