Florence Lucile Martin is appointed executrix of the estate of Joseph W. Huntzinger deceased by Fayette County District Court on December 7 1961. All debts owed to the estate should be paid to the executrix and all claims must be presented legally authenticated to the court for allowance.

Sven Blockhus born November 30 1872 in Lervik Norway died December 18 after a three week illness in Postville hospital aged 89 He came to Iowa at 19 worked on farms learned English studied at Decorah Breckenridge Business Institute married Gena Holt Anderson March 13 2003 lived on the family farm He joined E C L Church served as secretary and was Marion Two assessor for 16 years Survived by four children Otto and Bessie and others

Syria Community Church announces Sunday activities with Donald T. Caspers as pastor. Sunday school starts at 10:00 a.m. followed by worship and Holy Communion at 11:15 a.m.
