Consolidated Independent School District of Cleemont Elgin Formed

A petition led to creation of the Consolidated Independent School District of Cleemont Elgin in Fayette and Clayton counties Iowa. After notices, hearings, and legal review the Fayette County Superintendent issued an order approving the consolidation with a detailed boundary description and all objections rejected. Dated December 19, 1952, West Union Iowa.
