Car Crash Injures Willis Schott on Highway 18
Willis Schott suffered a broken collar bone ribs and lacerations in a Friday morning crash while attempting to pass Clarence Jacobia 1 1/2 miles north of Clermont on Highway 18. Both cars left the road into a ditch. he was hospitalized at Postville Hospital and is recovering.

The West Clermont Mission Society held its December 16 meeting with members hosting and leading the program. Social Action Chair I C Jerdee opened the event, followed by hymns, a skit, and a Christmas program titled The Bellis Say Come assisted by several members. A women's chorus performed Norwegian duet Jeger Saa Glad and other songs, ending with Silent Night.
