Informed of Son's Injury in Auto Accident
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rolls learned Monday from Mrs. Archie Rolfs that her husband Archie R. Rolfs, 31, of East Wenatchee, was badly hurt in an automobile crash on the Vantage highway near Ellensburg. He suffered severe head cuts and a broken nose after skidding ninety feet into a ditch following a collision with a oncoming car. The car was a total wreck.

Sheehan Unit of the American Legion Auxiliary met Tuesday evening December 10 at the home of Mrs. Wm. Crowe with assisting hostesses. Activities include shade installation in the Legion hall and Christmas gift mailings to Des Moines headquarters. The president appointed Andine Vasby and Mars. E. L. Crowe as study committee chairmen. The first lesson in the child welfare course covered needs, goals, community concerns, and a square deal for every child.
