Fayette county notes reflect Thanksgiving visits and local changes
Fay Klingman and Myrlin Feller spent Thanksgiving with friends in Rock Valley while Harve Howard and family moved to route 1 Elgin. The Fayette county courthouse roof work nears completion and C M Klingman's auction drew a strong turnout. Local residents travel to California and Des Moines for winter plans, with several sick or recovering from illness and a bridge floor replacement underway on the Turkey River bridge east of town.
