Vern Patterson returned to Fayette Monday after visiting here. Lew J. Kohler came home from the west Saturday night and feels well. Al Schori and Hugh Patterson went to Chicago Sunday to attend the fat stock show. Della Kohler travels to Osage Thursday to winter with Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Meyers. Fred Fatb, wife and son dined with Aug. Benson's family for Thanksgiving. Mrs. Perrin, aiding in caring for Mrs. Patterson, left for Lansing Wis. Wednesday for daughter’s funeral. Grant Grover from Cedar Rapids visited Elgin Farmers' Dairy Co. and old time friends. Mary Olson, daughter of Osley Olson, was taken to La Crosse Wis. Friday for surgery, accompanied by her father who reported her doing well upon return Tuesday.
