A display of new fall millinery features the latest shapes in felts duvetines and velvets for early fall wear plus Landsca hats. Dinner guests include J M Johnson Grisith family and Theo Torgerson, while Harold Stoehr enjoys vacation with his mother in Cedar Rapids.
The notice lists revival preaching by Rev. J. F. Olthoff of Avon SD for October 7 19 and reports the pastor's conference duties. It notes the Lailies Aid Society bazaar on Thanksgiving Day and thanks to Elgin for hospitality. Fred Hanson's new job at a California bank is highlighted with twenty staff under him.
