Ellen McGreevy died August 14 1959 at Postville hospital after a fall. Born April 6 1865 in Ireland she lived in Clermont area most of her life worked as a practical nurse then returned to Clermont 1939 and later with nephew Max Evans. Funeral at St Peters Church on August 17, pallbearers named. Survived by two nieces and three nephews with numerous relatives and friends attending from several towns. Card of thanks from nieces and nephews follows.

West Clermont Mission Society held a meeting on Wednesday August 19 with hostesses Mrs Roy Tatro Mrs Lyle Olson and others. President Mrs Russell Larson opened the session. Mrs Clarence Johnson led the Bible study and presented The Christ Possessed Life while Scripture from Ephesians was read and a hymn sung. Mrs Johnson also gave the month’s thought from The Messenger. Mrs Erhardt gave the society history and led a skit Our W M F through 42 Years. Members listed and a book display on WMLF was shown. Invitations were extended to attend East Clermont Mission Society on September 4. Dollars for Name were voted from treasury and one dollar per member for Donald Martinson missionary fund. Meeting closed with prayers and hymn.
