New Primary Law Causes Mix up in General Election
A long list of counties shows Republican and Democrat nominees for state races under a new primary law. Many counties report no Democrat nominations in the primary, while Clinton and Dubuque list two nominees per party. Surprises include the resignation of L. M. Shaw as state superintendent of printing and involvement of state guard members in Camp Dodge training.
