Busy Beavers 4 H Club met Monday evening August 4 at Donaline Larson home with 19 members and 19 guests present. Roly call asked what taking to the Fair. Carol Loftsgard spoke on Why Preserve Food. Demonstrations on How to Freeze Fruit by Diane Frieden Donaline Larson and L Myra Anderson and How to Make Jelly by Randine Hanson. We discussed weeds and conservation on the farm. Members worked on record books and planned fair exhibit. Next meeting in September at Lana Olson home. Diane Frieden reporter.

Winners All to Highlight Clermont Dairy Days Show
The annual Clermont Dairy Days features the Winners All group, winners of Horace Heidt and Ted Mack shows, performing 10 acts after the band concert on Saturday and Sunday. The band also offers two daily concerts, with Ray Altos Cowboys appearing Saturday evening at the Ford Garage Showroom. Free buttermilk, rides, concessions, and church and American Legion Auxiliary stands will accompany the event.
