Gustav Martin Johnson Hellum born December 26 1955 in Svelvik Norway died July 26 1982 at his daughter Svella Bakers home in Elgin Iowa aged 75 years eight months He sailed as a second class seaman at eighteen and later became a first class seaman in 1877 He married Anna Rierson in 1893 and had Julius and Luella Baker Survived by two children three grandchildren and three brothers Funeral services were held at the home of his son and at the East Clermont Lutheran Church with burial in East Clermont cemetery
