Fallout Shelters Can Save Millions of Americans

President Eisenhower calls fallout shelters the best defense measure for protecting the public. For 25 to 80 dollars per person, families can build shelters at home to survive 14 days after a nuclear attack, with essentials like food water first aid and sanitation. Pamphlets MP-15 and MP-18 outline several designs and are available from civil defense offices or Box Home Shelter in Battle Creek Michigan. Many shelters double as recreation rooms or extra bedrooms, OCDM notes, urging widespread shelter readiness before any attack.
