The General Federation formed by Sorosis in New York in May 1889 has grown from 355 clubs and four state federations to about 1 300 clubs with 100 000 members, spanning Maine to California and Idaho to Florida.

Pleasant Valley Sharpshooters Hold April Meeting
The Pleasant Valley Sharpshooters met on Wednesday April 1 1964 at 7 30 p m in St Pauls Methodist Church basement. Roger Reeder presided. Fifteen members responded with soil related topics and demonstrations on contour farming and soil formation were given by Philip Ruckdasher Timothy Butikofer and a soil conservation worker. Lunch was provided by the mothers. The next meeting is set for May 6 at 7 30 p m at the home of D Lene Krueger.
