The Clermont Study Club met at Mrs. Jerdee's home on April 12 with seven members answering roll. After the Pledge they recited the club collect. Minutes were read and approved. Mrs. Lucian Appelman was named to the program committee. A County meeting report was given, towels were hemmed by the Blind Women of Iowa, and papers on General Federation Clubwoman and Hawaii were presented.

Junior High Baseball Starts with About Fifty Players
The Junior High baseball program began Monday with around fifty boys reporting. First game is set for April 20 at Arlington, followed by West Central the next week. Everett Rowland achieved a perfect score on a comprehensive test after 312 words per minute films. Seventh graders and sponsor enjoyed a gym party and sack lunch, then roller skating in Ossian.

East Clermont Mothers Club Meets in April Gathering
The East Clermont Mothers' Club met Tuesday evening April 12 at the Charles Thorson home with fifteen members present. The meeting opened with a hymn and devotions by Mrs. Kenneth Blockhus based on Exodus 20 8 The Lord's Day. Gifts were to be bought for eight confirmands by Mrs. Oliver Larson and Mrs. Norris Reierson. A guest May 3 at the Orvin Olson home was planned. The group voted to supplement the LCRs gift to the LCR office. The junior choir gown fund shows a surplus. Mrs. Norman Lieran led a program titled When Sunday Comes followed by discussion a hymn and prayers.
