Junior College Closure Says Elkader Board
The Elkader Public Junior College will be discontinued for the coming year, as the board cites lack of self support. Only forty three students signed up, and actual enrollment fell short, creating a deficit. Had all applicants attended, funds might have supported the program, but an extra 1500 would be needed for chemistry equipment next year.
