Valley opened spring baseball with an 10 to 5 loss to West Central of Maynard. Kalm pitched a three hitter for the winners with Arthur catching. Frieden and Friederick pitched for Valley. Future Teachers Day At Upper Iowa University Observed
Nine Future Teacher Association members and Mrs. Moore attended Future Teacher's Day at Upper Iowa University on April 8. Registration began at nine with coffee and doughnuts, tours of campus, class visits, lunch, a musical program, a speech on teaching effectiveness, and a one act play followed by a Q and A. The event aims to help future teachers choose their teaching specialty.
