Elgin area notes show illness and travel within week
Ern Schori and Clarence Doty faced illnesses last week with mild flu and school absence. Albert Schori and son Gerald joined local travelers to Cedar Rapids on business last Friday. Various residents visited kin in Waterloo, Mason City, Oelwein, and West Bend, while others hosted gatherings and reported health updates and home care. Simpler: local names, short trips, illnesses, and social visits define Elgin Journal memo.
