J Q Rathbone recounts arrival in Ogden Utah after a train stop. He describes the city layout main street blocks and a park near the depot cites Francis A Brown a pioneer Mormon who laments city debt and loss of control by Mormons. He notes the theater and brown stone buildings and remarks on Mormon Gentile relations and his limited stay before continuing the journey.
Late Monday night Lew Stout and John Porter planned a water prank on Ellis Robb. They anchored a pail from a tree in front of Robb's house and soaked Ellis, Joe McMillen, and Ben Robb with water from hydrant hose. The pair fled as Robb and others retaliated, leaving Lew soaked and Joe chilled. Tuesday saw the prank commemorated with new clothing.

Later reports recount Porter attempting to descend the tree as water was thrown on Joe. Joe grabbed Porter by the foot to suspend him from a lower limb, then released him, and Porter dropped to the ground where Joe cooled him with a pail of water.
For weeks people passing streets at night were soaked by water from roofs windows or trees. Grant Tyler and Ad Harris resisted capture until cornered Tuesday night. They were brought to the C I D stock yards put in a cage and soaked as a mock punishment. A religious paper notes southern colored Baptists plan feet washing as humanity gesture. The town council of Hidera orders lot owners on blocks adjoining Mari on and Olive to build a pine or oak plank sidewalk not less than four feet wide. Construction must start at the northeast corner of block two and run to Jasper Street, with completion by July 1, 1891. Published ordinances take effect as required by law.
The Office of Auditor of State certifies City State Bank of El dora Town is fully compliant with state laws and has required capital.
