Epworth League Convention at Eldora District Meeting
The Epworth League third annual Marshalltown district convention met in Eldora with 185 delegates and 60 visitors. Sessions ran from Thursday afternoon to Friday evening, featuring speeches by W. F. Barclay and O. W. Lyons, reports of leagues and officers, and a dedicatory service at the Industrial School chapel. Officers elected included W. N. Gilbert as president. reports show 36 leagues, 1644 members, and 186 delegates. resolutions praised Eldora’s hospitality and urged temperance and Sabbath observance.
