Fatal double tragedy ends in accidental poisoning
Marshalltown men J B Cavanaugh and J H Buckley were found in Cavanaugh's room Friday. Cavanaugh was dead and Buckley near death after a days long spree. Cavanaugh had just been released from jail. his wife had left him seeking a divorce. A bottle with whiskey and suspected poison residue lay on the table. Coroner's inquest returned an accidental poisoning verdict.
