The Whitt en W. L. D. C. S. met at the Church parlor Wednesday after noon Nov 7 with thirteen members present. Memorial program opened with singing Onward Christian Soldiers. Mrs Vigars read scripture, Mrs Shuey read Upper Room article, Rev Shuey offered prayer. Mrs Hotthins led pledge to flag. Group sang Battle Hymn. Business followed. cookie exchange planned for Christmas Party with three dozen homemade cookies per member and guests, plus gifts for Harriet Ballou Nursery.
