Music Department Elects Officers At May Meeting
May meeting of the Music Art and Drama department of the New Providence Woman's club elected officers for the coming year. President Mrs Wallace Seward vice president Mrs Roscoe Hunt secretary treasurer Mrs Lawrence Cutler and several committees. Retiring officers were President Mrs Glenn Walton vice president Mrs Earl Marsh and secretary treasurer Mrs Otis Whitehead. A community kitchen project fund was approved and Miss Daniels from Iowa State College spoke on college support for music and drama groups. The program included group singing, a reading on There's Music in Everything and the comedy Thursdays at Home with roles played by club members. Ice cream and coffee concluded the social hour.
