Horatio Adams has had mumps this week. Mr. and Mrs. Noah Knott and Mrs. O. J. Lacey and Marjorie stopped in town as Mr. Knott attended funeral services for Ole Seim, a Deaconess Hospital patient. Mrs. H. P. Rhodes returned from Newton with her grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Good welcomed a new baby boy. Visitors included Theron Adamz and Emma Goettsch at Lela Adams’s home. Teddy Bru of Marshalltown visited Deloss Lacey’s family. A large crowd attended the Friday ice cream social at the schoolhouse.
The Churches and Prof. A G Voran of McPherson College lead a weeklong music institute to train church choirs. Evening sessions invite participation. a program at the church door follows.
