Dodger Manufacturing relocates part of production to renovated Infanseat building in Eldora Industrial Park. Dick Ritter says production begins this week after Stone Electric completes electrical work. Dodger vacates downtown Washington Street site as inventory shifts to the new plant and Ohio California facilities.

Whink Products Co. announces Arlene Slack as In-Plant Sales Coordinator at Eldora. She directs customer relations and administration plus in-plant telephone sales coordinating with 28 manufacturing reps and two warehouses in Canada and Hawaii for personal care and household cleaners. Slack, an Eldora high school graduate, started in production in 1969 and later handled billing and was executive secretary. She joins Bill Dagit, Eldora high school alum and Whink’s National Sales Manager for Household Cleaners.

State Club Meetings Set for Union and Steamboat Rock
Annual meetings of the South Hardin Recreation Area Inc at Union and the Iowa River Conservation and Improvement Club at Steamboat Rock are scheduled for Wednesday January 12 at 7 30 p m in their club houses. Union directors up for election include Wayne Morgart Bob Snider and Darlene Williams with Snider as president and Morgart as secretary. Directors serve three year terms and current officers are Roy Caster Mamie Biersborn Dr Lloyd Bates Jim Johnson Merril Cobb and Carl Norman. Steamboat Rock will elect two directors from five candidates including Robert Fuller Sr drudi Juchems James McDonald James Miller and Duane Steinfeldt with holdovers Robert deNeuf Larry Williams Kenneth Adams Bill Rewerts and Harley Wing. Folkerts is president and Rewerts vice president. A free pancake supper runs 6 7 30 p m at the lodge before the meeting.

Eldora issued 1976 building permits totaling 667255 in new construction and renovations. Of this, 315000 went to single family homes and 212000 to business construction.
