Mary Willhelmina Kix 75 died Monday at Iowa Falls hospital. Funeral services were Thursday at Boeke funeral home and Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church led by Rev A J Kruetamann. Born July 29 1874 near Hubbard she married Frederick Kix July 22 1891 and lived on a farm before moving to Hubbard. Survived by son Arthur Kix daughter Mrs F d Klemme four grandchildren three great grandchildren and sister Mrs Carl LeCour of Vixon II. Burial in Hubbard cemetery. Casket bearers Walter i elmrme Alfred Mannetter Guis Mannetter Walter Mannetter Henry Mannetter Gus Wehmeier.

Mr and Mrs Fred Reed and Mr and Mrs Henry Stlow visited Mr and Mrs Minnie Bick Tuesday evening. The Platts and Myers families planned a three week Texas trip visiting Houston Corpus Christi and Mexico with Leslie Pearson. Owego high school basketball played Hubbard with girls 74 62 loss and boys 5 14 loss while Gene Hansen and Kenpath Curtis visited.
Mrs Lester Trickey was a caller in the home of Mr and Mrs H Moore in Ekdora on Friday attached to a social visit note on a local household event.
