Public hearing on preliminary survey of power plant site

In 1947 a public hearing was held at the courthouse on a preliminary survey of Buell and Winters for the municipality owned power plant. Local hardware dealer Jim Tull announced selling a half stake in Tull and Probasco Hardware to John Bekemeier of Eldora. Bud Smith’s 2 year old Tennessee walking horse Strolling Gold Bug finished second last Thursday at the National Stallion Show in Waterloo.
