INSTANTLY KILLED WELLSTON Ohio Sept 15 John A Shumate and Clean Jacobs from Oak Hill were killed last night in their own door yards. They were digging a well and after they fired a shot in the well they descended and were overcome by gas. Both men were married.
Chicago and nearby districts face a severe cold snap on Sunday as a northwesterly wave moves in from the northwest. Snow was reported in Calgary, BC yesterday, signaling broader winter conditions.
