Complete Bulletin Display System At Election Time

The Herad reports post telegraph bulletins will be shown by the election display system used in big cities replacing the old method. Bulletins appear twenty minutes earlier and remain readable. shown from the Sheldon hotel balcony in the lide plaza starting about seven and continuing until midnight.

Reserved Seats For Ladies At Sheldon Hotel

The Sheldon hotel proprietor Fisher reserves the main parlor and adjoining corridor on the second floor for ladies this evening. The Herald will read returns in this room as they arrive before display elsewhere. The parlor is warm and inviting. ladies are urged to attend from about 8:30 p.m. onward.

Election Extra to publish comprehensive multipart results

The Herald will edit and collect fast bulletins into a full Election Extra to be issued at 10:30 on election night. Bulletin updates continue afterward as events unfold. Two new Linotype machines will operate 7:30 to 10, inviting readers to view the process and receive a souvenir.

Riot at Denver polling place leaves two dead

At a Denver voting site two men were killed and four wounded in a riot near Twentysecond and Lammert streets. A colored crowd clashed with officers after officers tried to push them back from the limit line. John Branford fired on Officer Carpenter. Branford was killed by Detective Carberry. The scene drew police to guard the area as the wounded, including deputies and a special policeman, were carried away.
