Secretary Robinson of the Builders and Masons' association led 75 pro union supporters as five armed officers protected the group. Washington March 10 The president sent to the Senate the nominations of assistant surgeons of the marine hospital service United States. The nominees include Thomas D Barry and Boliver J Lloyd both of Texas.
Delegates Dillon Malloy McCutcheon and Smith came back from the Waco convention aboard the belated T P train. Dillon chaired the resolutions committee with Gen. Jas Lowdon as chair. Smith served on the Ferguson committee and was named an alternate Philadelphia delegate. An interview with Mr Smith will appear Monday.
