A well dressed man named Walter Elton Fong from San Francisco and a stylish woman Emma Alien House from Palo Alto California appeared at the Denver court house seeking a marriage license. The pair are described as an elopement and caused a sensation in the city.
London rumors say Professor Andree will launch his airship to the north pole within the coming week from Spitzbergen after leaving Gothenburg in May. Strindberg Swendenberg and Twenke accompany him as carrier pigeons are sent back with updates.
