At Bevergreen cemetery Elks Rest ceremony begins at 2 pm with the unveiling of the Elks monument followed by a 3 pm bull fight in Juarez. The fair features a free livestock exhibit mainly registered Herefords on South Oregon Street plus a free mineral exhibit and other exhibits by the chamber of commerce highlighting many other attractions all week.

Last night El Paso hosted a spectacular pageant crowd estimated at 30000 plus visitors occupying most lodging houses, with streets packed from Overland Street to Orndorff Ward. The city prepared for departures with a special T P train at 10 pm while confetti battles and maskers filled the festivities. The parade featured floats like Artist's Dream Vitality of Mother Earth The Gladiators and Gulliver in Brobdingnag among others amid elaborate costumes and dazzling electric lights.
