At Gor man Eastland county on Dec 31 Col Wheeler and a deputy were shot by a man named McMann during an arrest. Wheeler was struck in the breast. bullet passed through and he was reported resting well. McMann fled on a horse, lost his hat, and officers continue pursuit.
