Barron Confirms El Paso Smelter Plans Amid Bid Talks
S A Barron, local representative of the Federal Copper Company, refuses to disclose details but states a smelter will be built in El Paso. He will not reveal start dates or contracts for thirty days while bids for foundry work and brick are sought. Foundry and brick firms are already being consulted to use El Paso material. company offices and immediate construction plans are expected soon. Jacocs, the company manager, is in New York and will visit El Paso shortly.

Extradite Sabas Baca for Mexican trial
