Pekin reports say the Chinese court rejects any execution of princes over Boxer outrages, calling the powers demands preposterous and delaying response as diplomacy fractures. A. A. Robinson president along with H. R. Nickerson and E. E. Styner and G. J. Hartman visited El Paso and Juarez after a southern inspection tour. They discussed stock activity, planned expansions to Guadalajara to Manzanillo, and anticipated extensive mine and forest work along the Mexican Central lines.
