London reports a British seizure of American food cargoes at Delagoa Bay as warships Philo mel Widgeon and Magicienne patrol the harbor. England claims neutrality violations by Lorenzo Marques and seeks a government decision on the status of the port and the legality of the seizures.

The college team, led by Barber and Danberg, secured the upset after the Indians had previously held the title. A rematch with Carlisle Indian team may be arranged on their Pacific coast return.
