The public library now at city hall will be open on weekdays from 3 30 to 5 30 p m and Sundays from 10 to 12 p m until the New Year.
El Paso signs a 50 000 contract with International Light and Power to build a brick power plant at Santa Fe and Fourth Street with 330 horsepower initially. Juan A. Creel of Compania Industrial Mexicana arrives to close the deal and advance 25 000, with the rest raised by local stockholders.
