Income Tax in Nutshell for 1619 Filers

Single persons with net income of 1000 or more for the year 1619 and married couples with net income of 2000 or more must file by March 15, 1020. Collectors of Internal Revenue provide full Form 1040A and 1040 instructions. A four percent normal tax applies to taxable income up to 4000 over exemptions, higher rates then apply, plus a surtax from 1 to 65 percent on net incomes over 5000.

Restoration to Entry of Lands in National Forest

Lands totaling 240 acres in Manzano National Forest New Mexico will be opened for settlement and entry under homestead laws with a fixed date at Santa Fe land office.
