Five Deaths Reported Over State
Three persons died in a two car collision just north of Van Buren Saturday night and one person was seriously injured in the head on wreck. Five persons were accidentally killed during the period from 6 pm Friday to midnight Sunday. The Associated Press count shows four died in highway accidents and one in a farm accident killed in the wreck on Arkansas 59 a mile north of Van Buren. Ray Irvin, 66, and his 62 year old wife, both of Fort Smith, and Dr Breeden, 22, of Van Buren were among the dead. Breeden's wife was listed in serious condition after the wreck Saturday.
