Mrs. John W. Olvey 74 former El Dorado resident died at home in Shreveport after a sudden illness. A Texas native, she helped form El Dorado Charity League and was active in church civic affairs. Survived by husband oilman. sons John W. Olvey Jr and Dr. Francis Threadgill. daughter Mrs. L. W. Wadsworth Jr. brother Jewell Dycus. 10 grandchildren. Funeral 2 p.m. at Osborn Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Forest Park Cemetery. Body to lie in state at chapel prior to service.

Demps Z Lee aged 83 of Junction City Texas died around noon Saturday after a long illness. Born February 9, 1882 in Antioch Louisiana, he was survived by two daughters Mrs. Robert Thompson Riverside California and Mrs. Thomas Daniels Junction City. two sons Don Lee Litchfield Illinois and Howard Lee Longview Texas. three sisters and three brothers. seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services Monday at 2 pm at First Baptist Church Junction City with Rev. A W Smart officiating. Burial in Holly Grove Cemetery under Pratt Funeral Home. Pallbearers listed with honorary names. Body will remain at Pratt Chapel until one hour before services.

Survived by husband T C Abbott son John B Abbott Dallas daughters Mrs James M Danner Spearfish SD and Mrs Arthur F Prosper Spearfish SD five grandchildren and one great grand daughter. Funeral at 3 30 p m Monday in Griffin Leggett chapel with burial at Roselawn Memorial Park Little Rock.
