Guilty Pleas Entered By Two Robbers
Two bank robbers from Louisiana faced federal charges after a $2000 Taylor bank robbery and teller kidnapping. Jack Gibson age 26 of Springhill and Bobby Lamar Holmes age 23 of Bossier City were arraigned on a $10,000 bond before U. S. Commissioner J. G. Ragsdale and jailed in Union County awaiting trial in federal court. They were captured near Plain Dealing after the Taylor bank heist at a First National Bank of Magnolia branch. two female tellers were abducted and later released unharmed.
