More than a thousand people attended the El Dorado Lions Club King Chicken Day at the Moose Club in Randolph Hotel. About 600 were served from 5 to 8 p.m. and around 400 between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The Derbies from El Dorado High sang and Mrs. Robert Burke performed at noon with Melvin Ballard on organ.
