Edwardsville Creamery plans a $40,000 expansion to double pasteurizing capacity. New two story brick plant will sit on Miller property east of current site, with a new 50 by 100 foot building, landscaped courtyard, and modern pasteurizing equipment to serve distributors. Construction to begin soon. Miller house moved to vacant Lot near Johnson and Gordon streets.

Cattle Truck Collides With Street Car in Vandalia
A cattle truck en route to the National Stock Yards collided with northbound McKinley Train No. 90 at Vandalla Street near YVango Hotel corner in Vandalia. Property Owners Plan 10 Improve Second Street Extension
Five property owners along an extension of Second street between St Louis and Vandalia streets have agreed to fund improvements to the strip acquired by the city. Belleville Youth Claims Abduction by Four Masked Men
Belleville high school sophomore Charlo Miller says four masked men in a large automobile bound blindfolded him and held him in a basement rendezvous to force a discovery of $1000. He returned home after more than 12 hours with marks on his body. Dellaville Chief Mayes doubts the tale as mistaken identity. Miller says the captors claimed his name was Coulter and demanded $1000.
