Fremont Klein Ends Life Over His Tl Health Inquest Set
Fremont Klein owner of Klein's Brake Service and a gasoline station operator on North Main Street ended his life with a 22 caliber rifle about 5 a m. The inquest is scheduled for Tuesday. He left home after telling his wife he wished to go to his office early. His death followed weeks of worry about back pains and a doctor’s warning of limited time. He leaves a widow and one son, with several siblings surviving.

Lester Neathery 22 of Collinsville died at St Marys Hospital East St Louis from injuries after his car hit a Southern Railway freight train at Brady and Eighth streets. Cecil Pelland of Sumrmon tCity and Bernice Cook of Granite City were injured. Neathery was 28 years, 10 days old at death. Funeral at Collinsville home, Lutheran Cemetery interment. survived by parents Mr and Mrs A J Neathery and brother Melbourne.

A sealed verdict in Judge Brown’s Circuit Court division awards William Johnson eight thousand? Actually six thousand dollars to the seven year old Alton plaintiff for injuries from August 17 1928. The boy paralyzed left arm and shorter left leg from a hip fracture, ran from curbing, and was struck on Belle Street by Miss Carrie Brueggeman driver of the automobile.
