Louis Zahradka of 316 Highland Street died Sunday afternoon at his home after a year of illness. Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 2 PM at Straube Funeral Home with CSPS Lodge in charge. Burial in Valley View cemetery. He was born January 28 1883 in Bohemia and was aged 48 years four months sixteen days. A coal miner for Madison Coal Corporation, he belonged to CSPS Lodge and Miners Local 688. Surviving are wife Mary Zahradka two sons Charles and Leroy one daughter Helen all of Edwardsville one brother Frank Zahradka Pana Illinois and a sister Mary Ceryenka of Bohemia.
