Mrs. Margaret Tadberg, 50, wife of GC Tadberg of South Roxanna, died after a forcible stop by Traffic Officer Arch Douglas while en route to a St. Louis doctor. Mrs. Clara Reed, driving the car, was taken to the police station after a streetcar discharge. Tadberg collapsed at Venice City Hall. An inquest returned a verdict that death resulted from diabetes and shock.
