Milk Directors Study Production for Coming Year Prices
Officers and directors of the Sanitary Milk Producers met at Mast Street in St Louis yesterday to decide on additional records for setting next year’s milk prices. Directors J King Eaton and Milton Winet attended. Three monthly shipping records from July 1 to August 15 and November 15 to January 1 will be combined. Records from distributors will also be used to compute basic pounds and base production percentages for each farmer.

Watch Found in Field Belonged to Mrs Gerstl
Mrs Joe Gerstl of 1103 Kingshighway shows friends a watch found yesterday in a field near her home while plowing. The piece, dug up after twelve years missing, is in perfect condition apart from slight rust on the hands. It was a small gold closed case with a diamond, bought in 1892 at Barnett Jewelry and prized by Mrs Gerstl.

Nighttime blaze destroys Beers Hotel in St Louis
A fire at the Beers Hotel in the uptown theater district forced over 75 guests to flee in nightclothes at 4 AM. The brick structure, dating 50 years, suffered heavy smoke and water damage with a total loss. 92 year old Theresa Carragien was seriously shocked and overcome by smoke. neighbors housed evacuees in a nearby hotel and theater.

Cornerstone of New Principia College Chapel Laid at Elsah
The cornerstone for the chapel first of sixteen buildings on Principia College’s new site in Elsah Illinois was laid in a ceremony attended by about one thousand.
