Funeral for August Bachman Held at Family Home
August Bachman died from injuries after a Christmas morning car collision on East Elm Street. He was the son of Rosa Bachman and managed the Levis Lane farm. Rev Heggameier officiated at the Evangelical Church of Alton with burial at Godfrey Cemetery. He leaves three brothers and three sisters. his father had died years earlier. Congregational Sunday School elects officers for year
